POV
During the Great Depression the main point of view that people show is the one where people are truly going through a sever struggle to survive. These people have to literally leave their homes and move on to try to find a better life else where, particularly in California. They were in a position where they didn't know if their children will be able to eat the next morning, or if the little sum of money that they have will be enough for their bills so that they won't lose their homes. These are the questions that went on through these peoples minds and thoughts on a daily basis of that period. On the other hand, there was people the did not have those problems obviously the rich, and even though they may have been affected a bit it did not hit them as it hit the middle class people. Their were also people in the middle class that either did not have their money in stocks and had already taken their money out of the banks and was able to survive during those years. Others had farms and their money so they were self sufficient and did not have any critical problems until a little while longer if they had any problems at all.
